Pleased to present a soothing devotional song, an old Telugu classic. I want to express my sincere thanks to U.R.Giridharan for accepting my request to sing this with me and also for doing such an amazing job singing. I am so impressed that in a not so familiar language he learned and delivered the song in a very short time with perfect diction and notation. A poor father and daughter together pray to Goddess Alivelumanga, the consort of Lord Venkateshwara to persuade her husband to show His mercy upon them... The song is set in Sindhu Bhairavi ragam.
