I want to thank Smt.Visali Sriram avare for suggesting this beautiful song for me to attempt. Originally sung by Smt. P.Susheela, this song is quite a challenge mainly to do justice to all the subtle nuances of the song at that pitch. Breath management is another thing. Song is composed in raga Abheri (loosely) and strikes a chord with listeners right away. Another gem from a Puttanna Kanagal film.
