Ganesha Pancharatnam

Ganesha Pancharatnam is a string of 5 shlokas (pancharatnam meaning 5 jewels) praising Lord Ganesha. This stotram is written in Sanskrit by Jagadguru Shri Adi Shankaracharya in 8th century, CE.

The most popular version of this stotram is composed and originally sung by the great carnatic vocalist, Smt. M.S. Subbulakshmi in a ragamalika comprising of five beautiful ragas, Hamsadhwani, Malahari, Kalyanavasantham, Kuntalavarali, Madhyamavati.

On the occasion of Ganesh Chathurthi, we humbly pray to Lord Ganesha, the remover of all obstacles, for the peace and well being of all. We respectfully followed Smt.Subbulakshmi and used her rendition as a guide for our chanting!

Wish you all a very happy Ganesha Chaturthi!
