This is a beautiful evergreen song from the film, America Ammaayi, originally sung by none other than Smt. P.Susheela. The poet paints in front of us pristine pictures of the holy rivers and temples of the land, praises the beautiful culture of Telugu people and pays homage to some of the greatest musicians that are born into this culture like Tyaagaraja, Kshetrayya and Raamadasu. The song describes the sweetness of Telugu language comparing it with sugar, honey and even the essence of the divine nectar. This song surely wakes up the pride of all Telugu people and mesmerizes them wherever they are in the world.
